WhatisTukongMoosul?
Tukong Moosul (특공무술) is a comprehensive Korean martial art founded in 1978 by Grandmaster Wonik Yi for the South Korean Special Forces Tu Kong commando unit. The name translates to "Special Forces Martial Art."
The art combines 800 years of Buddhist temple martial tradition — passed down through the Dae Yeon Sa Temple — with modern military combat science. It encompasses kicking, striking, throwing, weapons defense, pressure point techniques, and Ki Kong energy cultivation.
Unlike sport-based martial arts, Tukong Moosul is a "total philosophy of the human being" — not merely combat, but the cultivation of mind, body, and spirit in perfect unity. It is a warrior's path that transforms every aspect of the practitioner's life.
